What do businesses want from a recruitment partner?

Recruitment is always evolving but our perceptions of a recruitment partner don’t necessarily change as quickly. When SMEs think about recruitment agencies they tend to picture: a cost; a lot of CVs to sift through; a lot of cold-calling. But there are different approaches to outsourcing recruitment. With that in mind: what do businesses want from a recruitment partner?

Active listening: understanding your business

It might sound an obvious one but it can be too easy for an SME to expect a recruitment partner to simply see a job role and send CVs.  And while there is some value in that, at Good Egg Recruitment we do more than take a job description and send through a heap of resumes.

In the current recruitment market, there are reports that only 30% of people are actively looking for a new role. That’s a huge 70% of employed people that potentially aren’t looking or even thinking about moving.
