Our client, an innovative UK leading supplier and distributor, is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their successful team based in Coventry. If you have strong numeracy skills and enjoy working with numbers, then this is the role for you! This opportunity will suit someone who has accounts experience. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role requires someone with a professional manner and the flexibility to work as part of a team. This is a full-time permanent office based role working Monday-Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm, £28k - £30k doe, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and benefits.  Experience Required:
  • Purchase ledger experience
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Data entry using IT systems with high degree of accuracy
  • Working as part of a team and under own initiative
  • MS Office including basic Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Payroll experience would be an advantage
 Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  •  Assist with processing of weekly wages for approx. 100 employees.
  • Register purchase invoices and prepare for processing.
  • Input purchase ledger invoices on to the accounts system.
  • Scan purchase invoices to electronic filing system.
  • Credit card analysis for VAT and nominal ledger.
  • Process custom declarations for Northern Ireland on Trader Support Services system.
  • Update various spreadsheet as required.
  • Answering the telephone directing customers to the appropriate team member
  • Administration support with Audit documentation for the Finance Team
  • Any other administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the day-to-day operation of the Finance team

Our client, a forward-thinking and market-leading UK supplier and distributor, is seeking a highly capable Part-time International Sales/Export Assistant to join their thriving team in Coventry. Reporting to the Medical & International Sales Manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive candidate to manage the export sales administration processes on a part-time basis. The candidate will take ownership of the sales processes from initial order through to delivery, ensuring all documentation adheres to the company purchasing specifications, policies and procedures. The candidate will be able to show excellent attention to detail, work with a high level of accuracy, be organised in their approach to work and be able to work on their own initiative and as well part of a team. Good communication skills are essential. Knowledge/experience with export documentation is required. What’s on offer?
  • Competitive salary of £29,993 - £33,333 pro rota (depending on experience).
  • Permanent part-time office based role. Working 24 hours per week over 3 days including Mondays.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:  Order Processing & Administration
  • Manage international customer orders from entry to delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using digital system including company ERP
  • Prepare commercial invoices and relevant export/customs documentation
  • Book in shipments with freight forwarders & using courier platforms.
Customer Communication
  • Act as a point of contact for customer queries
  • Resolve delivery issues, delays or discrepancies
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and logistics partners
Process Improvement
  • Identify inefficiencies in export sales workflows to standardize and streamline processes
  • Recommend and support implementation of new systems or process enhancements
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks at one time
  • The ability to work closely with existing and new customers to maintain trust and build relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Good understanding and use of MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook in particular
  • Experience in a similar international role preferred

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure that governance arrangements are in place, effective and adhered to, including the planning of meetings, production and collation of monthly Project Board packs, taking minutes at Board and other Director’s meetings and maintaining action and decision logs. Support Project Leaders in the management of projects, ensuring that plans and actions are up to date to include planning and scheduling meetings, overseeing and collating monthly project reports and following up on outstanding actions. Provide direct, proactive and confidential support to the Board and Head of People & Culture in managing diaries, enquiries, events, correspondence and travel arrangements when required. Act as first point of contact for the Directors with external customers and suppliers providing a professional image of the organisation. Anticipate needs using sound judgement and discretion Provide EA support for other meetings as required, including internal HR processes and procedures. Maintain and develop business systems to ensure appropriate governance is in place and support the Directors and Head of People & Culture with maintenance of confidential and companywide records and files. Keep up to date with any new company developments and develop capabilities in line with company training plans. Participate in continuous improvement and change projects as required.
