We are looking to recruit a Fibre Laser Operator/Semi Skilled Fabricator for a small specialist fabrication company based in Coventry. The salary is £30,420pa doe (£15 p/h) plus profit share, pension, career progression and training.  Working Mon- Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced laser operator and semi-skilled Fabricator for a full-time, permanent role in an established independent engineering firm who specialise in precision sheet metal work, welding, and fabrication for clients across the UK. Candidate Specification 
  • Ability to interpret engineering/technical drawings (essential)
  • Previous experience working in a Fabrication environment (essential)
  • Works well as part of a team as well as independently and on own initiative.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude to work.
  • Capable of operating laser machinery (essential)
  • Able to operate CNC machine (preferred)
  • Ability to operate fabricating machinery inc Press Brake (preferred)
  • Folding experience (preferred)
  • Ability to use hand tools. (essential)
  • Able to read and interpret measuring devices. (essential)

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure that governance arrangements are in place, effective and adhered to, including the planning of meetings, production and collation of monthly Project Board packs, taking minutes at Board and other Director’s meetings and maintaining action and decision logs. Support Project Leaders in the management of projects, ensuring that plans and actions are up to date to include planning and scheduling meetings, overseeing and collating monthly project reports and following up on outstanding actions. Provide direct, proactive and confidential support to the Board and Head of People & Culture in managing diaries, enquiries, events, correspondence and travel arrangements when required. Act as first point of contact for the Directors with external customers and suppliers providing a professional image of the organisation. Anticipate needs using sound judgement and discretion Provide EA support for other meetings as required, including internal HR processes and procedures. Maintain and develop business systems to ensure appropriate governance is in place and support the Directors and Head of People & Culture with maintenance of confidential and companywide records and files. Keep up to date with any new company developments and develop capabilities in line with company training plans. Participate in continuous improvement and change projects as required.

Role Overview: The Audit Manager will play a key role in managing and delivering audit assignments efficiently, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards of client service.
