Based in Coventry, our hugely successful Client is looking for a driven individual to join the compliance team as an Account Manager. The position involves working within the office in Coventry coupled with visiting customers / prospects. Driver’s licence is required. Salary is £20k – £30k DOE plus bonus and benefits.
You will be involved in auditing, assessing, and completing “Packaging Tax” returns for companies in the UK. Prior knowledge of the Regulations is not required and full training will be provided.
This wide and varied role involves learning the business from the bottom up, developing commercial and account management skills and helping to contribute to our client’s ambitious growth plans.
The whole team also gets involved in advising companies that are not familiar with the Regulations to generate new customers, a major drive and focus for our business.
Specific tasks include analysing data, advising customers, problem solving, keeping immaculate records and new business development. Key attributes we are looking for include;
- a strong academic record (2:1 or equivalent as a minimum)
- a logical thinker with very good analytical and numeracy skills
- a confident communicator who is able to interact at all levels
- the ability to develop relationships and a create a rapport with customers
- excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
